Mozilla Firefox has been released version 3.5 out of beta version on June 30th, 2009. Faster, safer, smarter, better are the words to describe this new version by Mozilla. Firefox 3.5 provide more update and boost its performance as well as its feature.

If you’r blogging on wordpress it’ll be more easy to use expandable post summaries. Because wordpress has already provide tools for us to use expandable post, we just need to click “Insert More Tag” or click “Alt+Shift+T” on the toolbar.

But if you’r blogging on blogger, there wont be so easy to use expandable post summaries. Many bloggers have reported confusion when they tried to follow the instructions on the official blogger help page. Actually there are basically only need to do three steps to implement expandable post summaries in the new layouts template.

1st step : Create a conditional CSS
The first step is to put the code for the conditional css, but before that it is better that backup your template first. After that on the Dashboard, click on “Layout” menu and choose “Edit HTML“. Then scroll down till you come to </head> tag and add the following code immediately above it :

Save the template. IMPORTANT NOTE in the layouts template there is a ]]></b:skin> tag just above the </head> tag. Add the above code so that it lies between these two tags. What we did here was to define a css style class called “fullpost” that will appear only on post pages.

2nd step: Add “Read More !” link on your post
In this step, we need to add the “Read More !” links which will appear after the paragraph summaries. Before that you must put a check in the Expand Widgets Template checkbox at the top of the Edit Template text box. Then scroll down in the code till you come to <data:post.body/> tag, add the code below immediately after the above code :

Save the template. This link will only appear on the main page and archive pages, and it will redirect your reader to the post page containing the full text of your post. IMPORTANT NOTE : Do not use any other code or it will give error.

last step: Add span tag on your post
You need to modify your post template so that each post when created will show you where to place your summary paragraph and where to place the rest of the post. Choose “Edit HTML” option on Post Template, copy and paste the following lines there :

Paragraph Summary of the post. <span class=”fullpost”>And here is the rest of it.</span>

Replace the line “Paragraph Summary of the post.” with your summary paragraph. Then replace the line “And here is the rest of it.” with the rest of your post. Do not delete the span tag!

After i tried on my blogger, i notice there’s advantage and also disadvantage using this method.

• The advantages of this method is you get a link to your posts below your summary paragraph which gets an additional link in the search engines indexing. Also you do not have to rely on any external Javascript. The third advantage is that the Read More ! link opens into a new page leaving your main page still open in viewer’s browser.
• The disadvantage is all of your post will have Read More ! link, whether you want to use it or not it’ll always appear on your last paragraph of post.

There is a way to set the Windows XP to always run in safe mode automatically. Go to Start menu and Choose Run menu then type MsConfig, then go to “BOOT.INI” tab and choose “Multi Disk Partition” option. After that activate the “/SafeBoot” option to let Windows XP run in safe mode automatically, and if you want to browse the internet activate the network option too.

After all the work, press ok then restart your computer.

The answer is of course we can! To disable auto play for external storage you need to open registry editor program from menu “Start | Run”, type “regedit” and click “OK”. After the form appear, goto “HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | Explorer”. The default value for entry called “NoDriveTypeAutoRun” should be Dword 91. To disable it, you  must create a new entry for support auto play function. Click menu “Edit | New | Dword Value”, named it “NoSaveSettings”. After that double click “NoDriveTypeAutoRun” the entry before, edit the value into 95 on and click “OK”. Close Registry Editor and restart PC. The step has done, now you can try to plug any external harddisk to USB port, notice the Window’s reaction.

If you’r about to disable auto play for external storage, every data access from external storage must be opened by explorer program like Windows Explorer. Happy trying

Our customer had build a temple for Buddhist religion for many years. And their have a conference every season with their followers which we called it Tao’s follower. She has the problem in managing her data such as conference data, each Tao’s follower record, absent, transaction and many more. So she request us to made a program to managing her temple information data.

This program has a similarity as our previous work but it has its own unique taste. This program is made by using Visual Basic 6.0 with the database on Microsoft Access 2000. Design of the forms are following the web form style. The feature of this program are :

• User friendly master form with web form style
• Auto code feature for all necessary data
• Transaction with multiple currency
• Attendance data (Tao follower’s absent record)
• Conference detail record
• Multiple user
• Auto backup database

Here is a way to use that utility.

First, open “Run” then enter this code : “rundll32.exe shell32.dll, Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll” and press enter. The window to safely remove hardware will appear, just stop the thumbdrive there.

To create a shortcut of this function, just type those code into a notepad and name the file as < blablabla >.bat (a batch file).

Is your computer configuration often change because of your friends prank? First they are just borrowing your computer or laptop to do their homework or project, but after they’r done there’s always an evil for those who we call best friend to have their experimental with your computer. He just simply click a few setting and there’s gone our setting that we set up from the start. Yes i know it’s very annoying.

There’s a way to prevent this things happen again. We just need to hide control panel from the start menu, follow below step to hide it :

• Click Start Menu and choose “Run”
• Type “regedit” and enter it to open Program Registry Editor
• Choose “HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | Explorer”
• Click Edit menu and Choose “New | Dword Value”



• Type a new entry, name it “NoControlPanel”
• Double click it and give value “1″ on “Value data”
• Click OK to approve.

Now after done the step, we need restart the computer to take the effect. After you’ve return to Windows, try to click Start Menu again and see the result. Control Panel will dissapear from the list and now we can rest assure from those evil again
